In 1992 he became a part of Kannur’s professional theatre group named ‘Sangha Chethana.’ He played important roles in dramas like ‘Sakhavu’, ‘Pazhassi Raja’, ‘Soorya Pett, ‘Swathanthryathinte Murivukal’, ‘Freedom Road’, ‘Samaya Theeram’, ‘Marupuram’, and ‘Che Guevera.’
