He was very passionate about football and cricket since his school days. He made his first-class debut in ‘Ranji Trophy’ (2015-2016) held on 15th November 2015.
On 10th December 2015, he made his List A debut through ‘Vijay Hazare Trophy’ (2015-2016). He made his Twenty20 debut through ‘Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy’ (2015-2016) held on 2nd January 2016.
In 2018 he was suspended from three games in the Vijay Hazare Trophy (2018-2019). The reason behind his suspension is that he showed dissent against Kerala’s captain Sachin Baby.
On 13th January 2021, he was selected for playing ‘Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy’ (2020-2021). On 8th February 2021, he was bought by the ‘Royal Challengers Bangalore’ in the Indian Premier League (2021).
