Sithara Krishnakumar has been very interested in music and dance since childhood. She began her singing journey at the age of 4. She studied Carnatic music under Sri Ramanattukara Satheesan Master and Palai CK Ramachandran.
Then she learned Hindustani Classical music under Ustad Fiyaz Khan. She trained in classical dance under Kalamandalam Vinodini.
Sithara Krishnakumar started her playback singing career in 2007 with the song ‘Pammi Pammi’ in the movie “Athishayan” directed by Vinayan.
