Education and Qualification
Anoop Sankar completed graduation and moved to Chennai and learned music under the renowned musician Neyveli Santhanagopalan. After completing MCT & Master of Engineering he elected his career in music.
Career Path
Anoop Sankar started to learn Carnatic classical music when he was only six years old. He learned the music under the musician Sri. Chalappuram Pappa.
In 2002, Anoop became the winner of the musical talent hunt show ‘Sapthaswarangal’ which premiered in Sun TV.
On 21st & 22nd September 2002, Anoop along with 20 musicians under the name ‘Samgamam’ set a musical performance spanning over 40 hours and won the Guinness World Records. The program was held at Santhome Monfort School Auditorium, Chennai.
Anoop appeared in various television and radio shows of South Indian media as a judge, host, and mentor.
In 2003 he started to work with the renowned music director Gopi Sundar and was associated with hundred commercials of leading brands as a singer and writer.
Anoop Sankar got an opportunity to perform for Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Thrissur. He performed the inaugural welcome song written about the Prime Minister of India.

Anoop Sankar participated in many television reality shows as a host, judge, and guest. In 2006 he hosted the reality show ‘Music Carnival’ and ‘VJ Plus’ telecasted on Asianet Plus.
In the same year, he was the mentor of the reality show ‘Star Singer’ which premiered on Asianet.
