UAE Offers Visa on Arrival for Indian Citizens and Six Other Countries

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has recently expanded its visa-on-arrival policy for Indian nationals, enhancing travel convenience for eligible travelers. Indian citizens holding valid visas, residence permits, or Green Cards from six additional countries are now eligible to obtain a visa upon arrival in the UAE.

The six countries included in this expansion are Singapore, Japan, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand, and Canada. This development aims to strengthen travel and business ties between the UAE and these nations, facilitating smoother entry for Indian travelers with valid documentation from these countries.

To qualify for the visa-on-arrival facility, Indian nationals must meet specific criteria. They should possess a valid passport with a minimum of six months’ validity from the date of arrival in the UAE. Additionally, travelers must hold a valid visa, residence permit, or Green Card from one of the specified countries. The visa-on-arrival is typically granted for a duration of 14 days, with the possibility of a one-time extension for an additional 14 days.

The introduction of this policy is expected to streamline travel procedures for Indian citizens, reducing the need for prior visa applications and enhancing the overall travel experience. It also reflects the UAE’s commitment to fostering stronger international relations and promoting tourism and business exchanges.

Travelers are advised to verify the latest requirements and conditions before planning their trip, as visa policies are subject to change. For the most current information, it is recommended to consult official UAE government sources or authorized travel agencies.
