PM Free Silai Machine Yojana 2022: The central government is implementing many schemes for the upliftment of women in the country.
The central government is launching innovative schemes aimed at empowering women by finding self-employment and earning extra money and making them financially independent. Through this scheme implemented by the central government, the women of the country will get free sewing machines.
This benefit is available under the PM Free Silai Machine Yojana 2022.
Under the PM Free Silai Machine Yojana 2022, free sewing machines are being distributed to women. All women between the age group of 20 to 40 years can apply to get a sewing machine through this scheme. The central government is implementing a scheme to distribute free sewing machines to more than 50,000 women in all states. This scheme is valid in rural and urban areas.

- Unique Disability ID (For handicapped)
- Widow Certificate (For widows)

PM Free Silai Machine Yojana 2022 How to Apply for Free Sewing Machine Yojana?
- Visit the official website of Free Silai Machine Yojana (Sewing Machine Scheme) i.e. www.india.gov.in . visit
- On the homepage, click on “Apply for Free Sewing Machine” option.
- An application form page can be viewed on the screen in PDF format. Take a print out of this and fill in the required details (name, father/husband’s name, date of birth).
- After filling all the information, attach the photograph along with your application form and submit all the documents to the concerned office. For this, social welfare department office and block development office can be approached.
- The officer will scrutinize the information provided by you on the documents. After verification you will be given free sewing machine.
